Visit Cook County Farm Bureau’s diverse farms, farmstands, greenhouses, garden centers, and agri-businesses that are members of the CCFB on a self-guided County Farm Crawl tour on Saturday, Sept. 17. The crawl is free, offering participants 24 locations to visit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., unless noted. There will be opportunities for farm tours, workshops, farm experiences, as well as purchases of local farm products, many offering specials and discounts by presenting the CCFB’s Passport to Ag booklet or Farm Bureau member card.
Participants use a Passport to Agriculture booklet to locate participating farms, including crawl details and offers. Use the Passport to Ag to record visits, and crawlers who turn in their passport to the CCFB office will be entered to a special drawing for gift cards to crawl locations.
This crawl encourages adults and children of all ages to come out and see what Cook County agriculture looks like and enjoy.
